Hi there,

1) switch the computer off completely from the power supply for 2mins

2) Take the battery out and connect the power supply to the mains and trun the computer on. If it turns on than try it with the battery insterted.

3) If the battery is insterted and the mains power cord is connected and the system won;t turn on than the battery is at fault.

Please let me know what happens.

regards,

Philip

Might be stuck in hibernation. Pull the battery and ac power for about 1 hour. Replace and try to boot. If fails, pull the battery and try to boot just off ac power.

I have galexy tab 3 7.0 SM_T210R when it's on standby mode charging normally but when i turn it off it doesn't charging anymore what's the problem??

The charger has a function that restores the battery operation parameters by discharging then charging the battery a number of times. Refer to charging instructions in the pack but I think the cycle is a 3 hourly one, time to charge from a full discharge. If the charger thinks the battery is dead then it will try to recover the battery using this process. You may have left the charger on long enough to charge then also discharge the battery.
Start again and charge for the time in the instructions ONLY, if you are not sure of the time try it for an hour, then without disconnecting the charger turn the unit on and take particular note of any screen messages, if any.
You should be able to continue as normal now, but still be aware of the time you are leaving the charger connected for, as it may take some time before it returns to normal operation and stops trying to recover what it thinks is a dead battery.

My old 611 dosent hold the battery charge for long even though I have put in a new battery

An in car charger will not charge as well as the mains, when charging for the first time you should use the mains, and charge for at least 8 hours. If it didn't charge correctly, it will be the same low charge all the time, as the battery has a memory that makes it charge the same each time. Try charging from the mains, you might be lucky.

2510p trackpoint not working

The hibernation is the main problem, it corrupts windows and causes it to shutdown and not restart. Unplug power supply from laptop and remove main battery, now press and hold power for 2 minutes, next! hook everything up and press power, if this fails! you will need to do a fresh install of the operational system with a recovery disc if possible, once you are up and running go into power options and uncheck hibernate to avoid this in the future.

My battery does not hold the charge, i will charge it for 24/hour and it only last 5 minute, why is that, iI buy this product for wife when went to Iraq, and when i talked ton her on the phone three months...

NiCad batteries have this problem when they are recharged frequently after being only partially discharged. This is also the case when the batteries are left in the charger continuously - even if the charger is described as being "automatic". I have old 12v batteries that I have been using for 20 years, but I only charge them for a few hours, and only when they have run down enough to be useless. I prevent leaving them too long in the charger by using a timer that cuts the power to the charger after a couple of hours. A couple of years ago I bought new drills and chargers, and believed that the chargers would be automatic and so could be left plugged in. Those batteries only lasted a couple of years, while the old ones are still going strong. I now use the timer for any of these chargers, automatic or not - but I had to buy new batteries first. good luck, Al K

Try this

Remove the battery from the laptop and unplug it.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Reinsert the battery and plug the computer back in.

Try turning it on.

Many HP laptops have a built in static protection that needs to be released. This could be what happened in your case. If this reset doesn't work you will probably need to get it repaired by a technician.

I hope this helps! If this did help you, please give a thumbs up!

No sign of phone charging

I finally have spoken to a very nice youn guy from Sonim Tech Support. He fixed my problem of the phone not turning on.

1. Take out the battery, plug in the mains charger and leave for a few minutes (they say 10 but it took my phone a couple of hours).

2. Eventually the charging symbol will come on the screen, either stady or flashing.

3. Immediately put the battery in the carcass (while it is still connected to the charger), and the charging symbol should stay on.

4. Leave the phone for a couple of hours, disconnect the charger, and the phone should turn on as normal.

This was explained to me, the reason for not turning on was that the software had crashed. This solved it.

Stand by time is about 12 hours

Couple possibilities:

1. Old battery: After a couple years of use, the battery simply can't hold a charge as well as it used to. If you are using an old battery, try getting a replacement.

2. Replaced battery with a NON-Brand name: If you replace the battery with a lesser expensive pack from china, they will typically use an inferior set of cells. Use only the name brand batteries for best performance.

3. You're in a location where you cannot pick up a DIGITAL signal. If you are roaming or unable to pick up a digital signal, the cell phone will constantly be searching for a tower wasting precious energy. For best standby times, make sure you are receiving a digital signal.

4. Battery charger malfunction: If you're accustomed to charging your battery with a wall charger, try charging it from your cigarette lighter in your car or with a different charger. If it works longer after doing this, drain the battery and charge again the way you usually do. If you're back down to only 12 hour stand-by, the usual charger may be malfunctioning.

5. Make sure your backlight is not on all the time. If your phone has a setting to keep the backlight on, turn it off.

Good Luck.

Battery Charging

If both the charger and the battery are warm to the touch, the battery is probably charged.

The low battery level warning level is learned by the phone. To train it, allow the battery to run down once until the phone stops working, then recharge it.

The best way totest the charging operation would be to try using the phone. Fully charged you should get about 6 hours of talk time from a fully charged battery, and at least a week of standby operation.
