Question about Washing Machines
Model # WFW8410SW, turns itself off after you press START BUTTON. in detail. i pressed power button, selected cycle, pressed start and then machine turns off. don't have a clue, as i used the machine the day before and operated perfectly. the only thing i did that was unusual, but should not be an attributor. i used gentle cycle and it has low spin for the spin. when cycle was finished. i used the spin and drain on high spin to drain out remaining water in clothes. after 10 minutes of cycle, i canceled the cycle. i don't see how this could be a problem, but i hope it helps.
set it to spin dran cycle and select no spin and push the rinse hold button 4 times it should read c00 on the dis play and go thew to c08 it will lock the door frist and then go thew all the cycles it will flash on a c# that has trouble

HELLO, Error code F1 indicates a control failure and most likely the machine control board will have to be replaced. Depending on when you purchased the machine, the board may be covered under extended component warranty.
I had the same F1 problem and they had to replace the control board and something relating to the balance. The tech told me this is a common problem.
