You need to buy an amp adapter. SCOSCHE OEA4 4-Channel Adjustable Factory Amplifier Int. 23 bucks on ebay. You most likely have a factory amp in your car and the head unit's speaker output wires are already amped. the factory amp can't understand the audio signal.

I had the same problem when I installed in-dash unit. Check your "power antenna" lead...I think it's purple. Even if you don't have a power antenna, it still needs to be connected (no idea why).

You might need to check your wiring, it's a safety feature with dvd players. Check the ground wire.

Hi I have the XO Vision GX2148 9 in. A specialist installed it for me and setup the audio to go to my FM in the car. After taking it, there is no sound anymore and the volume is stuck at zero and remote...

my xo vision gx 2148, and was installed in my car, read format vcd, mp3, cd but not read format on DVD, the manual that comes with the unit says whether to accept DVD format, I know that I do, as I get the wrong lock code (8888).

This is a problem with break wire. I too expierienced this. It is NOT a problem with radio. You need to ground the break wire in the harness. It is a protection wire so that it knows the emergency break is on. In other words it is supposed to stop you from watching movies while driving. Grounding the wire disbales the feature thinking the break is on. If you want to use the safety feature properly it should be connected to the emergency break switch that is grounded when pulled up or on.

this happened to us also. If it's happening with the lights on, unhook the orange dimmer wire. our would workonly when the lights were off. the second we turned the light on the system would shut off. once we unhooked the orange wire it stopped doing it. we installed it in a 2003 mercury mountaineer.

I think i had the same problem... I think the mute is on on your system...go into setup and down to default and reset everything...if your sound comes back then the problem lies within the back. You would have to un-attach the brown cord (tel-mute), After that it should work. This is the problem i had and this was the fix for me. Hopei helped
