Question about Palm Computers & Internet
We are trying to install a booster to help when we are inside the house. I have a booster, and wish to install it outside, but want to enter "test mode" on my Centro - so I can do 30 second "signal strength" tests outside for both data and phone. What frequencies need to be boosted, one? Two, how do I enter "test mode" on the Centro, to see the signal strength meter? and Three: If you were building a booster, would you worry about getting a directional signal towards the closest tower - and pipe that inside, to be amplified, or would you, just get the highest point possible - picking up all three towers, and amplify whatever tower grabbed the phone at the tiem? I know this is a lot of questions, and I will hold you totally to none of your answers - realizing that this is not your required job, so mainly tellme how to enter "test mode" on a Centro - and the rest you can answer only if you like. Thanks, Mike
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

This will depend upon the question/option made. Anyway, sum / count the number of option having same answer and take the percentage. You will surely see how to make the conclusion.

i just got the same receiver like few days ago im still leaning it too,it is a very nice receiver though. here is some settings to help you.
check this to make sure zone 2 is showing in the menu,
menu, basic setup, speaker set, extra should show zone 2 it might show zone b...presence...or none needs set on zone 2 hit the left a-e/cat button it is weird the right doesnt circle all around? i had to call crutchfield tech for that one(GREAT COMPANY!)so that is for the setting to make sure zone 2 is set up now some to adjust the volume.
menu, manual, options, zone 2 set. here you can set 2 features
max volume( the loudest it will play) inti vol(the volume that it will play at when it is turned on) the yamaha has alot of quirks to it but has a very nice sound. for second zone features and a easier receiver to set up i have onkyo and they are very easy to set up zone 2 olume and everything on the front panel. hope you dont have to try to program a universal remote to work it seems yamaha uses discrete codes that are impossible to find i tried one universal and can only get very basic features to work.
hope this helps you out,
