Question about Nikon COOLPIX L12 Digital Camera

Open Question

Twinning Coolpix L12 for 3D photos

I would like to use two Nikon Coolpix L12 digital cameras to make 3D (stereo) photos. To do this I need to tap into both camera's Pre-Focus and Shutter button controls on the circut board. This will allow me to construct one single switch which will trip both camera's shutter's at the same instant (which is critical for taking live-action stereo photos). Before I open the cameras and start hacking I was wondering if there were some shop-manual or documentation on either the electronic schematic and/or the physical construction of the shutter release electronics and mechanicals so that I can determine the best approach without trial and error. Any help appreciated! --jeff--

SOURCE: nikon d40

Take the lens off and continue pressing the shutter untill it doesn't react anymore, you should then have a normal menu without the error message.Put your lens on and you're all sorted.Cheaper and less hassle than sending it to Nikon.

SOURCE: faulty nikon d40

I removed my lens and put it back on making sure that the aperture ring was set properly, that did it. The second time, I locked the aperture ring back in to its proper place and it worked fine.

SOURCE: My Nikon D40X shows an Error for the shutter release.

Hello. I have the D40X myself and I have had success by going into the menu and locating the reset button. What this does is return the camera to the settings that it had the day it came out of the box. Joe

Hi i just need the software for my Nikon Coolpix S210 as my PC is not reading the disk.

Did you not get it with the camera? You camera has a removable media card, the easiest way to get your photos off the camera is to use a card reader. If you need the software to edit you photos, go to www.nikonusa.com

I want to upload pictures from my camera to the computer nikon coolpix 2100

You must have a software in your computer to read the pictures. It can be kodak easy share, hp photo smart, or any photosmart software. This softwares might be available in the brands website for free.
Your computer needs a photo program to upload your pictures.

One easy way is to go to a store with photo service and have your camera card pictures put on a CD. This CD usually brings photo programs sofware and you will be able to use them next time from your camera into the program then into the computer.
