What is the exact model number to your Samsung flat panel. Let me check whether it schematic is with me in my system. If it is there, I'll surely upload it to you by Google Drive, from which you can download it. I can't upload it by this window, as it do not allow me to upload pdf files.
Most cases there is no need to replace the motherboard. Try to find out what component has burned and replace it. If the main power supply to the inverter board had shorted, then, the supply giving FET may be burned. You may see as it burned. If the inverter activating device ( a small FET) had burned, you can also see it. In some systems there is a fuse for the inverter supply in inverter board as well as on the motherboard. You can also identify it.Make a reply if this is helpful.
There should be a part designation written on the board under that part. FOr example Qxxx or Dxxx. Can you post that here please? I can cross reference that designation using the model number to get you the part number, cost and description.
If the amp is not going into protect, the power supply FETs have probably failed. In the corner of the amp near the toriodal transformer, there are 4 FETs against the heatsink. When these fail, the 47 ohm resistors at the base of the transistors often fail. If the resistors are dark, it generally means the FETs have failed. If you disconnect the amp from power and measure the resistance from leg 1 to leg 2 of the power supply FETs, a reading of near 0 ohms indicates the FETs have failed.
Generally, when the power supply FETs blow, they burn and make a mess (they blow black soot onto the board). If the damage was limited to the FETs, the amp is salvageable. Sometimes the board burns also but that's relatively rare.
