Often you should install the drivers (using device CD), before you connect the external device to your computer.
1) Delete the driver from device manager,
2) disconnect the drive from computer,
3) restart computer,
4) install the driver (using device CD),
5) after driver is successfuly installed,
6) connect the external device.

I have a Presario F500, it had sound but it seems like I deleted the sound and now it says "No Audio Output Device is Installed". PLEASE HELP. dANNY

Danny, please fallow these instructions to the letter and you will have your sound back up and running in no time.
First, disconnect all external devices from your unit, ie; flash cards, external hard drives, wireless devices, and any USB devices with the exception of keyboard and mouse.
Next, reboot your unit and allow to completely setup.
Next, lets go into your device manager and take a look.
If you see any red flag's, exclamation marks or the phrase unknown devices, please remove them and reboot your unit.
The reason we are removing any of the above is, the red flag's indicate a malfunction with the device, the yellow exclamation mark, shows at device seen but in direct conflict with another device.
The phrase " unknown device " shows a device that is trying to load, that windows does not recognize or have drivers for.
Either way, if you have removed all the explained above, you can now restart your unit, again without external devices.
Your unit should see whatever was removed and reload the correct drivers needed to have the device function properly.
Now that the unit has restarted and reloaded its drivers, you should have your sound and you can " one at a time " load your external devices.
If for any reason, you are to have a problems in the loading of devices, drop me a comment and I will help as I can.
Happy Holiday's

Sound card will not work cant get sound

Try removing the card from the unit and reboot without card.
After the reboot, check your device manager for flags or exclamation marks. Or the phase " unknown Device "
If found remove them and reboot unit.
Remove any external devices such as external CD DVD drives, Flash cards or wireless devices.
After the reboot, check your device manager again to assure that you have no problems.
Shut down unit and re-install your card. Restart unit and it should load the correct drivers for the card or give you a can't find drivers message.
Check your audio and see if you notice a difference.
If not, replace the audio card.

After installing drivers 4 wireless internet computer crashed and when rebooted it had no keyboard or mouse

Try disconnecting all external devices. Not the keyboard or mouse.
Re-boot unit and check your device manager for flags.
If found, remove them and reboot, checking each time a device is installed.
Hope this helps.
P.S. After all has loaded, then try your modem hardwire first. Wireless second.

LG GSA-E10L DVD±RW Dual Layer

Try reseating your IDE cables. or Assuming you have powered down and restarted and then click start button\control panel\system\hardware tab\device manager and see if there are any yellow/red flags that might give you some information.

If all else fails go to the cd drive in device manager and uninstall the driver and follow directions, choose automatic install when it gets there. Then do the same with the cd/dvd and see if things work.
