Question about Audiovox FP1510 15 in. LCD Television

1 Answer

Auto Scanning My TV automatically changes channels, its might be on a scan mode. It is not on auto program and I cant figure it out. Sometimes it will stop for a few minutes and then just continue for no reason. I erased all the other channel options but it just keeps clicking on and off. I need it to just stay on one channel to use my satelite.

If there is no channels after scanning is it the outside antenna?

Do you see any channels [as a glimpse], during auto-tune. If you see them for a moment during channel auto scan, and do not store them in the TV memory, after the channel scan has been finished; the fault is with the TV itself. If you do not see that glimpse of programs during channel auto scan, there are two possibilities.
1. The tuner of the set is faulty.
2. The set do not get any signal to process [might be antenna].

Run channel auto scan

The auto scan feature scans the various channel frequencies looking for a signal. Weak signals may be picked up on one scan and missed on the next. Check your antenna or add a antenna power booster and try again.

How can I get my TV out of now scanning mode?

Without better information, I can't be of much help. To me it sounds like it's searching for channels using the Auto Programming feature. This should stop on it's own once it has scanned for all the available channels in your area.

We can't get any of the channels don't know where to start from menu area

You just do autotune to receive all channels. In this mode TV will tune through the entire channel band automatically, and finally will stop tuneing, and will show the first channel receved. You must be patient for these time. about two or three minutes, without disturbing is process. The tuning process follows.

Auto Tuner Setup

In Auto Tuner Setup, the TV automatically scans

t h rough all available channels, memorizing the active

ones and skipping over blank ones or channels with

weak signals. This means when you scan (using the

CH A N N E L +/- b u t t o n s ) you will receive only clear,
active channels
P ress the ME N U b u t t o n
Press Right or Left button to operate
Press Vol+ or Vol (--) to choose CABLE or AIR
Press UP or DOWN button to move to START
Press Right or Left Button to start Auto Tuner Setup

Tv will show "NOW PROGAMMING" display.
Programming will take approximately 1 to 2 minutes.
After all it will show

Some cable systems experience interference from radio frequencies on cable Channel 95. You may delete this channel from
your scan by removing the "X" next to it on the Channel Summary screen.
