My padels no longer click into place, & come off when baking bread, how do I fix this? Machine is new, baked around 10 loaves

Call Black & Decker, it should still be under warranty. They will send you a new unit or even a new model if this version is notoriously bad, as was the case with my 2500 model. Their customer service is good if you are under warranty, just call and get it replaced.

I have a Chefmate bread machine with no manual and need to know the order of ingredients. Liquids first then flour and then yeast on top?

Hi,
We had one for a long time!
First all the dry stuff, then the liqued on top.
Just bought a new one, and believe me!
First the water, the milk, the oil, then the Flower, sdugar salt & yeast!.
Both bake perfect!
So I really do not think it matters!

Need to know the order to place ingrediants into machineregal bread

Hi...Liquids and salt and sugar (if used) first. Next comes the flour....and finally your instant yeast sits on top of the flour. Salt will kill the yeast so if you use yeast that you mix with the water (proofing) then put the salt on top of the flour. Yeast and salt should be separated untill kneeding. Hank

What order do you put the ingredients in a bread machine?

Hi,
You want to put liquids, oils, and salt & sugar first. Then flour, then your instant yeast on the top of the flour.. This is especially true if you want to time it so the bread will be made at a later time. If the yeast and salt are put in together the salt could kill the yeast. That's why they are separated by the flour.

Model No. B2300 - the padels stay in the bread after it is finished baking- is there any way to prevent this? thanks - Chris

Hi Chris,
You can take the paddle out of the machine after the final kneading cycle and before the final rise cycle. Take the whole pan out of the machine to do this to be safe, or use a pause button if you have one. Hank

What is the order of the ingredients : dry first then wet

I usually put wet first then dry. Just don't mix the salt and yeast at the same time. The salt will kill the yeast.

If using the timer cycle to make bread at a later time, put all wet ingredients and salt in first. Then the flour, then put the yeast on top of the flour so the yeast doesn't mix with the salt.

I had great success in finding what I wanted for my breadmaker at http://breadmakerpartsemporium.ioffer.com/. They have manuals and parts for most breadmakers at very reasonable prices.
