One way to do that is to buy a SD card reader that connects to your computer.

If you go into My Computer, you should see a drive other than your C: or your cd/dvd drive. It's likely the E: drive. Open that drive.

Leaving the other window open, find the photos on your PC and simply drag and drop them into that E: drive window.

That's it.

I want to download my pictures from my LG800GHL cell phone to my pc, but my pc doesn't recognize it

According to the user guide online here:

http://www.lg.com/us/support/products/documents/RDL-1102-00054_LG800G_TRF_0221.pdf

this phone supports SD memory cards. If you have one installed, the pictures are probably on that. If your PC has a card reader, you can take the card out and plug it in and Windows should deal with it. Pictures are generally in a folder called DCIM and then named by date.

As far as your PC (I assume it's Windows and not Mac) not recognizing it when plugged in, you can download the Windows driver here:

http://tool.xcdn.gdms.lge.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=UW00120120425

Install it. I've looked at it, it's required if you want to have Windows recognize your phone at all, as it's one of those non plug-n-play drivers. Hope this helps.

Hunting for slot to put memory card in so I can download my pictures to the pc

I don't think the 9100 series has a card reader built-in.. You'll need to purchase a USB external one. They are only about $10 or $15, depending on what you buy. Here is an example of what you need:
http://www.compusa.com/applications/category/category_slc.asp?CatId=942

Just about any place that sells computer stuff will have one. Just make sure the card reader will read the card you are trying to use. Most will read the more common cards. Sometimes you need an adapter, such as when using a micro SD in an SD slot.

Also, a lot of times, just plug in the device that you are trying to download the pics from into the computer and Windows will take it from there. Sometimes you'll need to download the software for the device from the Internet, though.

I have a hp photo smart 385 and I am trying to download my pictures from my cell phone. I have tried using a micro sd, samsung micro, and a sundisk adapter and all have come back with disk error. help

What type of phone is it? Some (most?) phones will not connect to PC etc. without special software. Did you format the SD card before trying to use it.? Using SD? - format SD first before inserting to phone for photo copying. If pic are stuck on SD card, there are SW which can do file recovery on it. Some free. Last thing to consider, what format are pics? Is format compatible w/ printer?

SD card not recognized. Card has pictures from my Canon camera. Attempting to put the pictures from the card to my sister's Compaq Presario SR2050NX Desktop. I put it in the SD drive and nothing...

The driver for the SD card slot may not be installed.
The other option is to insert your SD card into a USB card reader and then connect it to the USB port on the computer. This computer will see this as an external USB storage device and then you can copy and paste the images into the computer.

The pictures from sd card freeze when I run the slideshow on my digital picture frame. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem might be.

Does it stop on one particular picture? If so, I would say that you have a corrupt picture file on your SD card.
