Check for clog first. if the rubber gasket is still there then it shouldbe fine. the small area can get clogged easily where the water travels through the nozzel. clean that really well and make sure there are no clogs in it. if i still is not sucing up wet stuff check and see if it sucks up dry. if it dosnt **** up dry either you can try and clean the filter and get all the debre out of that. if none of those fixes the problem chancs are the hepa filter needs replaced

Will not **** the water off the carpet.

If the carpet cleaner won't "Extract" water from the carpet, try using the upholstery / hand tool. If you have suction there, your selector switch / knob is either in wrong position, or broken. There may also be a tear in the hose on the inside of the cleaner, or the waste tank is not sealing well.

Bissel proheat is not sucking up water

There is a oblong black seal that sits where the tank lip and the clear noozle window come together, is it there. Also make sure the filter in the tank lid is clean.

Where the lip of the tank sits on the clear window, is the gasket there? If it is missing, it won't suck up the water. It is black, oblong (#24)and sits in a slot on the clear window providing a seal for the tank. Is the filter clean(#62), should be sitting in the square opening on the bottom of the lid, it sits right over the sucking opening.
