I had an issue with my brand new microwave as far as adjusting the power level to anything other than the default setting of P-10. The Power button would not respond at all. I unplugged the appliance for a few minutes, then plugged it in again, reset the clock, and all worked as described in the manual. Unplug, then plug in again. It must reset something in the electronics.

I've had the same problem ever since I inherited mine (with no manual) from my dad 3 years ago. I just found the solution! Press the power button, and it will say high. Press it again, it will say 90. Each time you press, the power is reduced by 10%. then just press the cook time as usual.
