In printing preferences or when you right click on something and and select print , then on that window there is a selection for page 1 to page ##'s , just change it to from "page 1 to page 1" for just the present page or for more pages just change the "to pages"numbers

Canon Pixma iP 6600D printing problem.. went to print a scanned document .... paper began to feed in askew from autopaper feeder . Printing process stopped. the process was repeated a couple more times...

To fix the paper feed problem, Clean / rub each roller with a damp cloth with a dab of detergent.
Check for paper residue , especially near the paper empty flag,
Then reset the printer:
First power off the printer. Next, while holding STOP/RESET button, power on the printer.
While holding POWER button, release STOP/RESET button. Then push STOP/RESET button twice.
Wait about 20-30 second until the LED shows "0?. Then push STOP/RESET button four times.
Finally push POWER button twice. Last step is to turn off the printer by pressing the POWER button one last time.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response. Happy Holidays!

Thanks, Joe

I cancelled a print job from the Vista Printers link on my desktop. It jammed and I can't get it to delete and can't print anything down queue. How can I clear the print queue?

hi,

you need to delete the jobs and print the stuffs...

you need to give the following commands in the command promt which can be accessed from the start menu or by clicking "windows key+r"

net stop "print spooler"
to stop the print spooler

after you have stoped the print spooler
Browse to your windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\ folder

You should see files there ending in .SPL and .SHD created around the time you tried to print – delete these files.

now try to print the stuffs..

if it clears the mess please give a vote....

Someone got printer printing the same 300 or so

Assuming you're running Windows, go into the control panel, select printers, select your printer, double click on it and cancel all print jobs.
Possibly, someone wanted 3 copies and hit 300 or, someone's messing around. Look at what is being printed 300 times, and you should be able to figure who ran the print job.

I have a Canon MP210 all in one printer and I am running on Vista Home Premium. I have downloaded the latest driver for this model. I am experiencing data transfer problems, sometimes the printer works...

There's an incompatibility issue with the Vista operating system updates and the Canon MP210.

  • Booted in Safe mode with only the print driver loaded - printer worked
  • Tried disabling all services except Microsoft services - Printer messed up
  • Reinstalled Vista from scratch (what a pain!!) with no updates - printer worked
  • Installed SP1 - Printer messed up
  • Uninstalled SP1 - printer worked
  • Installed Automatic Updater without SP1 - Printer messed up

Printing problem

you may have a faulty Thermal element, sounds like a cold spot in the middle of the print head is messing up your photo. If this is in warranty or is new get them to replace it
