Not likely, since the engine module also fire the plug across from the #2 cylinder on the coil pack. check for spark directly at the coil, if none is found ,then most likely a bad coil pack.

SOURCE: 2.7 l misfire after changing plugs

From karjunkie:

If the plugs get wet, then you have a spark problem somewhere in the ignition system. Pull a spark plug and hold it against a ground while you turn the engine over. You need to see a fat blue spark. If not, check the distributor, spark plug wires and coils. An easy way to test for spark is with an inexpensive spark tester. This is a device that is readily available at most auto supply stores. If the plugs do not fire properly, check the spark plug wires for fraying or cracking. Next, you need to check the coil(s). If firing voltage is low (weak spark), measure the coil primary and secondary resistance with an ohmmeter. If it is out of specifications, replace the coil. Also, make sure the coil is receiving normal voltage from the PCM or ignition module. If it is low, check the charging system for anything that may be reducing alternator output (battery and alternator cable connections, ground connections and voltage output).

SOURCE: where is the body control module located on a 1997 town & country

It is located on the back side of the underdash fuse box (junction block). You remove the lower steering column cover and knee blocker reinforcement. Then remove two plugs from the bottom of the BCM.
Remove the bolts holding the junction block to dash panel mounting bracket. Remove the junction block from the bracket. Remove screws holding the BCM to the junction block. Slide the BCM downward to disengage guide studs on jb from channels on BCM mounting bracket

2006 Ford Ranger 3 litre. I had no spark on 2/3 and massive spark on Cyl 1. Replaced coil pack and now have massive spark coming from all 3 on that bank. What can be the cause from Cylinder 1?

FIRST OFF LEARN THE RULES OF WASTED SPARK COIL PACKS
1-IF ONE WIRE OR PLUG GOES OPEN, YOU LOSE 2 PLUGS DEAD THAT IS BECAUSE 2 FIRE AT ONCE, AND IS WIRED IN SERIES
2-DO NOT MIX IF THE WIRES OR FIRING ORDER IS LOST (HORROR 1)

3- LEARN TO REPLACE HV WIRES 1 BY 1, NOT MIXING THEM UP EVER.
YOUR PACK IS 6 IN ONE, AND HAS 3 COILS INSIDE FIRING IN WASTED SPARK ORDER. IS THIS CLEAR? AND ANSWERS IT ALL.

4- WELL THE HV WIRES ARE FIRST TO CHANGED OUT WITH NEW SPARK PLUGS AS 17 OLD PLUGS AND HV WIRE SETS ARE NO GOOD UNLESS NGK MAG WIRE, NOW THAT IS A WINNER THOSE, NOT CARBON CORE OR SILCONE CORE JUNK WIRES EVER,SEE NOW MOTORCRAFT SAVED OUR BACON,

SEE PHOTO BELOW FOR FIRING ORDER.
ON TOP OF COIL CLEAR AS DAY 6" SEE 3 AND 4 THERE, THEY FIRE AT THE SAME TIME.
AS DOES 2/6 AND 1/5

5: CYLINDER #1 ON ALL V ENGINE IS THE ONE MOST FRONT
IT IS OFF SET TO THE FRONT MOST. BINGO #2
THEN WE GET ASKED THE FIRING ORDER.
6: THIS IS NOT GUESSING THIS IS SERVICE MANUAL FACTS .
BANK 1> 1,2,3
BANK 2> 4,5,6
VIN U) Firing order 1-4-2-5-3-6
SEE HOW ALL THIS MATTERS?

2004 chrysler van 3.8 motor replaced coil pack still doesnt fire number 4 cylinder

If the coil pack has a four wire connector, one wire is primary voltage, the other three wires are ground, one ground for each coil, one coil fires two spark plugs. If problem with coil or ground, you would lose spark for two spark plugs. Did you visually check for spark, everywhere? What about the spark plug wire or the spark plug, itself?

Have a 2002 chrysler town and country, stumbles and back fires, have a code p0302

#2 cylinder misfire. Plug, wire, or coil pack. One of them is bad. My guess is the coil pack. Pull the wire off the coil, lay it on top the coil close to the #2 port. Start the van. You should see the coil throwing an arc to the plug wire. No arc replace the coil. If you have arc, then replace the plug and wire. I would do all of them.

Miss firing all spark plugs and wires have been replaced.

i would check the order the leads go from the distributor to the spark plugs as 1 or 2 of these might be incorrectly placed on the wrong spark plugs causing the mis-firing.

My Chrysler Town and Country won't start. Battery is fine. Neighbor said it seems like there is no gas getting to the engine. But it smells like gas when i try to start it.

Is the ignition system firing? Spark at the plug? Pull one wire off and put in close proximity to metal, turn key, should see blue spark jumping out of wire. If not then cause is in ignition system: crankshaft sensor, wiring, cap & rotor (if present) Fuses, relays. Ignition module. Something electrical.
