Question about Grilling
We have a Kenmore Model #141.16324 Gas grill and it worked well for a year but now when three of the burners are on and you go to turn on the 4th or 5th it shuts the gas off to the first three. Also we have a xtra burner on the side for pans and now when we try to use it it only comes out with one big yellow flame, it dosen't have the typical gas flame.
Is it safe to assume that the 4th and 5th burner has a poor flame also? It sounds like a fuel starvation issue. Have you tried replacing the regulator? The regulator is the some what square shaped thing that is on the black LP hose or on the manifold (the part that has the gas valves on it), if it is natural gas. Also try cleaning out the burners and the gas valve orifaces. These will sometimes get clogged with spider webs or food particles. Another thing that can cause a problem is if you have one of those LP gas guages on the tank. I found that it was blocking the gas flow. I tried re installing it but it still caused a problem.
