The aperture size in your bios is the amount of main memory your card can use in case the card runs out of memory. It is intended for old video cards with very little or no on-board memory at all. For best performance with your card, set it to the lowest setting or turn it off completely. That May help.

DOWNLOAD ATI RADEON PCI EXPRES X300 SE 128MB

Need more information on the exact problem and what and where you downloaded. I assume you are replacing the integrated video adapter with a PCI expansion slot.

You must disable the integrated Motherboard video adapter in the BIOS. The new card must be compatible with the expansion bus in your computer. New drivers new from the manufacturer must be installed before the PCI express card.

Follow the instructions included with the new graphics card.

I have not been able to add any AGP card to my PC.
My PC is a cube PC so I have been trying to install a "low end" AGP video card without a separate power connector. My only really requires are DirectX 9.x support and a minimum of 128MB (and no power connector)

The card I am currently trying to install is a Gigabyte ATI Radeon 9600Pro with 256MB.

I have also tried a ATI Radeon 9550 with 256MB and a Nvidia card

I have done all of the usual things, such as disabling onboard graphics, removing old video drivers, verified latest chipset drivers are installed, I reviewed the graphic adapter and don't see any conflicts etc.

I wonder if any of the cards I am trying to install will work with my AGP slot.
The manual for this Gigabyte card states "AGP 3.0 Slot or greater is required"
Unfortunately, this requirement wasn't on the Gigabyte or NewEgg web sites or the back of the box. Only in the install manual.

My Motherboard manual states "AGP 1.5v Card is required".

I got great AGP information from www.playtool.com. I used some of the tools suggested there such as Sandra Lite and other tools to try to determine what version my AGP Slot is. These tools don't seem to clearly state what

My PC is a Small Form Factor PC with 220W Power Supply.
It has integrated Intel Extreme Graphics
gBox P4 Blue CF-986L
Motherboard is a CFI-968L with last bios released (1.04)
www.american-media.com
Pentium 4 3.06Ghz
1G RAM
80G HD
Chipset is Intel 845GE
Intel Extreme Graphics
Windows XP Home

This is a awesome PC and I really would like to extend the life of it my adding any AGP card that supports DirectX 9.x

I have no sound so i need ATI Radeon 9200se 128MB driver to fix it thanks

Ati Radeon 9200 has no audio - If You do get the picture out of it it does what it supposed to do.
The other thing is the sound - Do You got a soundcard separate or integrated one?
It needs a driver, but You inform the model of the card or in integrated version you should inform the motherboard model. And the operating system info would help too

This motherboard will support any PCI-Express (also known as PCI-E or PCI-X) video card-- which is pretty much any current ATI card that's out there. You DON'T want an AGP card however-- it won't fit.

yes, before you buy video card

verify first the interface slot available on *********** board (AGP,PCI or PCI Express)

then select the video card with the same interface in *********** board

verify the video cards driver if compatible to your operating system
