That means that one of your bulbs on that side is burnt out (either front or rear) most auto parts stores will replace the bulb for you at no additional cost

alot them are double filliment bulbs so check to make sure the parking light and brake lights are working properly also, you will need someone to look while you push the pedal/switches

The left blinker on my 05 Honda stops blinking when brake is pressed. When right blinker is on, the flashers come on. HELP????

This is a common problem check the ground on that tail lamp assembly as you step on the brake the power sent to the bulb can not find ground and is returning thru the turn signal bulb so 2 positive sources keep the bulb out.

Cant resolve a blinker issue, Tried the easy stuff.

The signal wire going to the right front has a splice for the dash indicator, a wire branching off from the turn wire and going to the dash. It sounds like that right signal wire is broken or lost a connection before it splices off to the dash, so the problem sounds like it is under the dash, either coming out of the turn signal switch to the flasher or from the flasher to that splice. You may need a multi-meter to check voltages on that wire at various places under the dash. Ascertain which color wire you need to concentrate on. Check for voltage on it with key on and right blinker on-voltmeter will spike to battery voltage, then fall to zero as the flasher breaks voltage continuously, if checked after the flasher. If checked when leaving the turn switch, it should be a continuous signal on that wire. Think you better find a wiring diagram to find the right wire to check. Good luck.

When its blinking fast look at both front and rear to verify which bulb isnt flashing. If the right works OK, then the flasher is OK. The flasher is INSIDE the front control module/integrated power module. If you cant find the problem, you may need a dealer to check it.

Check all the bulbs to make sure they are working. Usually when a turn signal stays on solid or blinks fast it means that a bulb has blown. Its the cars way of telling you that a bulb is bad. If they are all good then it will probably be a flasher relay that has gone bad.

Left blinker blinks faster than the right. which the back left blinker does not work and front left blinks really fast.Right blinker works normal?

Flasher relays relies on bulb wattage for the speed of the blink.
You probably just have a blown bulb in the left rear blinker.:)

2001 Olds Silouhette - The blinker on the dash blinks quickly

NO PROBLEM TURN ON THE RIGHT BLINKER THEN WALK AROUND THE CAR MAKE SURE FRONT AND REAR BULBS ARE FLASHING... IF YOU HAVE A BULB OUT YOU WILL NOT OFFER ENOUGH OF A LOAD TO THE FLASHER... WILL CAUSE IT TO FLASH FAST... IF OK THEN MAKE SURE THE PROPER BULB NUMBER ON BULBS AND MAKE SURE CORRECT BULBS USED IN VEHICLE.... IF OK CHANGE FLASHER

Blinker blinks fast, replaced bulb, it burned out too

Most cars have separate flashers for each side now, and in fact, if it still blinks, even though faster than normal, there's probably a short circuit somewhere on the light wire where it's exposed and making contact with the frame of your car or some other metal part, which then causes the bulb to burn out.
