Question about GoVideo VR4940 DVD Player/VCR
Have a 4 plus year old GoVideo VR4940, which will not recognize the disc when I place it in the system-whether it is a tv recorded item (DVD-R) or a pre-recorded movie DVD. Had the unit cleaned, but still no luck and have a ton of DVD-R discs recorded, but not finalized and cannot get the screen up to finalize it. What can be done with the unit (or outside the unit) to get them finalized so that they can be viewed on other systems? Hope someone has a good answer. Thanks for your help.
If you can see recording on the flip side..it is either a disc patch fix (software) obtained thru Go Video..or find another go video recorder to finalize it..you might try unplugging the unit for a minute or two..and try it again...
