Question about Televison & Video
The picture went suddenly off center (to the right) by like 5 inches. There is a band of static, then a black area, then the picture.
1. It is not the feed as the problem still occurs in the setup menu.
2. It can not be fixed by the simple adjustment that moves the screen from the remote.
3. If you change formats you can see the whole picture but the static line is still on the left hand side. (obviously distracting).

it you have a repair skills you need to open the TV and make sure all the ribon connectors around the circuit boards are proper connected
and if all seems to be ok, the DG board will need to be replaced.
If you dont have any repair skills I would recommend you to take you TV to a repair shop since this is complex repair

Unfortunately, what you're describing is a repair issue. You won't be able to address the problem with troubleshooting. There is a part inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If you're under warranty, this will cost you nothing. If you're not under warranty the cost will likely be a minimum of $200 parts and labor. However, be warned that the cost could be considerably higher.
