Question about D-Link ADSL2/2+ Modem/Wireless Router 4-Port Switch, 802.11g, QoS (DSL-2640B)
Do I need different drivers for my PC which has Vista installed? It does not recognise my PC and gets stuck on the first phase. Saying I need to vonnect the Router to the PC. Which I did. It searches and says, the cable is not connected correctly. On the box it states "Vista" - but on the website, it does not mention "Vista" compatibility, now do I find the drivers.

The first answer seems to address your question however as noted in your article the mode you have is not on AOL's recommended however it does support PPPoE so it may (should?) work. I recommend setting it up and getting it to work with a computer wired to the router before configuring and testing wireless connections. In terms of wireless configuration see

first you see the in the internt explorer in that tools in that is give internet option in that connection>lan settings> if the proxey server is ther then remove it if not ther then go it. i think you get it.
second think is that in your dlink router reconfigure the router properly and give the isp details correct and one more thing is check the dns value.

SOURCE: dlink dkt-110 wireless router
I have recently bought a second pc for my home, and have bought the dkt 110 router, however i am experiencing problems connect it to my 1st pc. It is saying that i need to check my cables, over and over again.
But according to the router and the internet, both are connected. Then when i try and connect the dongle to the 2nd pc it is saying that it cant find the device. or the windows hasnt recongnised the device.
Any advice on this subject would be most appreciated.

If you connect the computer to the router , it works.
That means the wired connection is OK.
Open the set up page of the router check the wireless settings of the router.
I think your network is secured and you are not typing the correct network key.
just open the router set up and check the wireless settings .
