SanDisk e260R 4.0G - Getting rid of Rhapsody

The free trial of the Best Buy Rhapsody channel has ended BUT the songs I loaded to my player during the free trial cannot be deleted from the player AND because the free trial is over I cannot listen to the songs either. The Rhapsody songs are eating up A LOT of memory on my player. I cannot figure out how to delete the songs or the Rhapsody channels. How do I get rid of them and free up all the space.

I had the same problem. In the end I reformatted the e200. To reformat hook up to your pc and there should be a reformat option on the e200 icon.

Through the menu system on the Sansa, change your transfer setting from MTP to UMS. When you connect your Sansa, you should now see a drive in My Computer into which you can drag and drop music files.

Rhapsody software download

If you have a Windows version that is older than XP, Rhapsody will no longer work. The written documentation says it will, but this is dated information - you will have to get Windows XP or Vista for it to download Rhapsody. Most other music svcs are the same way.

My sansa e250

hey smart ones(sarcasm) why dont u just buy the Sansa e250v2

its pretty much the same thing, just without rhapsody, thats how me and my friends are, i bought the one with rhapsody features(Sansa e250R) so i can play the songs that i bought and get free music channels for it, where my friend on the other hand has the Sansa e250v2 without rhapsody, u can still use rhapsody but u cant get free music channels for it, or u could also download best buy music manager or rhapsody and set up a free 31-day account for it to stop saying that for a while, plus if u got ur Sansa e250R from Best Buy, they can replace it, or trade u the sansa that u have with the rhapsody-free one(without rhapsody)

Sansa e250 sync and rhapsody -- ugh

the Walmart songs should be usable, but the old Rhapsody songs will have to be reloaded, or your Rhapsody sub will have to be renewed.

Will eventually lose songs downloaded?

Okay, here's what i've encountered:  songs that I downloaded on rhapsody, without purchasing, only lasted about 7-10 days unless i reconnected.  once my trial period ended, i lost all the songs.  songs that i've purchased i've had no trouble (although if you load them to the sansa immediately after download, you may get the same message.  its best to wait at least 24 hours).  good luck

Music stopped playing "synchronize to continue..."

Your device has to be connected to Rhapsody every 15 to 30 days to verify your account.

If you are connected and signed in, and still receive this message, you should contact Rhapsody Technical Support as the error is on their end. (866-597-5507)

Best of Luck.

Problems with getting Rhapsody music off

ashers - use windows media player

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out:

Pink Screen Synchronize to continue your music subscription

Renew your Rhpasody or Napster subscriptions and reload/resync the songs - those two service shave fixed-term licenses

Sansa e260r mp3 player with rhapsody

it means that either your music files have been corrupted or that you only had a specific amount of plays for that song because it was only a trial, so if you redownload them and pay for them then they should, work. For the song difficulties with LimeWire, I am stumped on that, but if I figure it out, you'll be the first to know! Your online bud, Maxwell
