I print the TESTPAGE and the printer just print BLACK.(i have color Cartridge & they are clean)
i also did try to see if the printer setup was wrong but itis as is supposed to be. Then i just WRITE a Colorfulmessage in blank paper, and the colors dosent appear on the paper, itis like its printing Clear!
and the printer sound is printing but the colors dosent appear. what can i do???

Your printer itself is functioning ok, but the colour ink is not coming out. Have you successfully printed with this colour cartridge before or is it new. It could be a dud if it is new. Also, you need to manuallt clean your printhead with solution and cotton buds until no residie left. This should resolve your issue.

Doing reference on your issue. Double check the ink cartridge to make sure that the cartridge is correctly installed. Also be sure that the black ink cartridge used is compatible with the machine.
The next thing to do is a cartridge cleaning as the belief is that the print head is blocked. If you have done a thurough cleaning, the next thing to do is replace the black ink cartridge to be certain the ink cartridge is not faulty.
I have included print head cleaning instructions in case you have not done this cleaning process.

If one or more of the ink colors are missing from pages printed by your machine (i.e. received faxes, copies and/or documents printed from the PC etc), nozzles in the print head may be clogged, or the ink cartridge in question may not be installed correctly. Verifying that the ink cartridges are installed correctly and/or cleaning the print head may solve the problem.
Cleaning the print head may solve the problem. When cleaning the print head, you are given the option to clean BLACK ONLY, one of the three colors (CYAN, YELLOW, or MAGENTA), or all four colors at once. For this issue we recommend cleaning only the affected color. If more than one color is missing then choose ALL.
When the machine completes cleaning the print head, press Color Start. A Print Quality Check Sheet will print.
If the Cartridge and printer alignment is successfull and you are still not able to print in color, mostly the Color print is disabled in your pc
Click on START Button Click on CONTROL PANEL Open Printers and Faxes folder Highlight the Printer icon for Deskjet Right click on the printer icon and choose Printing Preferences Under Printing preferences, you will find Printing mode - It must be on BLACK or GREY SCALE, Change to COLOR/ ALL try printing.
Did you tried the testpage via PC or did you use the built-in testpage, starting with the printers buttons ? Do you use refilled cartridges ? Sometimes these cartridges need to be "resetted" after refill, what some refillers do forget. Do you know if the drum is ok ? What errors are displayed ? Paperjam warnings can also come from the sensors for the paper.
was the colour ink printing verywell before you change it? go to your printer properties setting if your printer monochrome setting is on.well remove your ink & use a soft tissue to clean your printer ink cup softly & clean the ink terminals (contacts)too. use a soft tissue on he ink nozzle if the three colour appeare on the tissue .then install back & run a self test if the test prints colour , then you can reinstall your printer & run a testpage. thanks.
I had removed and reinstalled the empty 3e cartridge. Sorry for the Confusion. I hadn't put a new 3e cartrige in until today. Them I ran " deep clean" twice. The printer works fine. I still don't understand why the printer wouldn't print color, when I was had set the printer to print in color when my 3e cartridge was empty and all colors including the 6 black showed full.
