Driver for windows 7 for crayola digital camera

my daughter got this digital recorder for her birthday and since day one it will not record or show picture on screen. im very frustrated with it and dont know what to do?

It's not clear how computer software allows your kids to "use" the camera, but I suspect this is what you are looking for:

Pick the model of camera your kids have and then choose "download drivers". If there is additional computer software available, it will be listed as a seperate download or be bundled with the driver software.

Go here, http://www.sakar.com/thumbnails.aspx?categoryid=2, select the camera type you have, and then on the resultant page will be a link to download the drivers.

There is another program on the disc called Color Genie which does not appear to be available for download. It's not required to download pictures off the camera.

Call tech support at 1-877-397-8200 to get a new disc mailed to you.

I did some more searching, and discovered that apparently Sakar produced a Vista driver for this camera shortly after I gave up on it last year. (Their support staff said they would notify me if a Vista driver became available, but oh well.)

In any case, there is now a Vista driver for the Crayola camera available on the Sakar website:

Use Windows Explorer - START > right click > Select explore.

Once you have connected your camera to the PC, and after it has been detected, open Windows Explorer as explained above. Now scroll down on the left panel until you see the entry for your camera. Click the (+) next to the entry to expand. Scroll down to the appropriate folder and copy all the pics you want to transfer. (right click, copy. For multiple selections, hold down the CTRL key and click on the pics you want one by one)
Now select the folder where you want to copy the pics to, and right click -paste them there.

Of course, will have to have installed the camera driver first in your PC, or sometimes the camera may not be recognized.

I had the same problem. I downloaded the driver from sakar.com and now it works like a dream! Hope this helps.
