You should have another door that goes in front of the impeller (blade) which doesn't have a vacuum attachment. You should first detach the vacuum door from the bottom, put on the blower tube, and install the other door that came with the blower. Hope that helps.

My toro blower will start but sucton not blowing the leaves where is the switch located

Remove the vacuum part and install the protection grid over the intake propeller. This protects you from getting caught in the propeller and engages the safety switch witch allows you to use it as a blower.

Toro model 51575. Was using it as a vacuum and it just shut off. Checked breakers ...all ok. Plugged it in direct to outlet and still nothing. What might be the problem?

If you're Toro electric blower is slowing down, throwing sparks, or not starting you may need to replace the carbon brushes. Replacing brushes and cleaning commutator early can prevent damage to motor armature!

There are Electric Motor replacement carbon brushes on E-bay for all three motor sizes (7 AMP, 10.5 AMP, and 12 AMP) of Toro Leaf Blowers (Toro Rake and Vac Super and Ultra Blower Vacuums)
Search E-bay for: "Toro Blower Carbon Brush"

- 12 Amp leaf blowers Toro Super (Old model 51552) through Toro Ultra (New model 51609).
- 10.5 Amp leaf blowers Toro Old through Toro New model 51573.
- 7 Amp leaf blowers Toro model 51586 and other Toro 7 amp blowers

Need to know the points and coil setting 3hp brigs

The easiest way to set points and coills on most brigs engines is get a pack of matches and rip the cover off them and use this as the tool to gap your points and coils it is cardboard so magnets do not bother it and it just happens to be around 25 thou which is the center of the adjustment on most Brigs. Hope This Helps Don
