Hello....I assume that the disc will play on the Magnavox.Put the disc back in the recorder..If you get a menu..check for a selection called "finalize disc".The disc has to be finalized before it will be universal and play on other dvd players...I hope this was helpful...PEACE.....
Maybe the format of your recorded movie didnt support your player..check out your manual for the supported formats and check the format of your recorded movie.If any of the format in the manual matches your movie format then it will definitely play..
please rate my suggestion..
No, this U-Matic VO-9800p ist a PAL Model, it only Records in SP and High Band Mode. If a SP Tape is inserted, it Records SPMode, otherwise High Band. Low Band Mode is only for Playback ! (Low Band Playback is of very poor Quality, do not use this for Digital DVD Captureing )
have you tried to record in sp then playback on same machine if this works then your drum for recording in lp or if yours has ep mode may need replacing as pre recordings are ok you need to get it serviced.
hope this goes well
Here's the link to the manual;
check page 67 - it sounds like your discs need to be finalised before you can read them elsewhere
Hope this helps, if you dont find what you need please ask again :)
sorry to say but both of these sound like loader problems.ie the optics are faulty,you have to replace the full assy called a loader assy when this happens.Panasonic are the only company who offer part exchange tru authorised dealers.ie send back the faulty one and they will give reduced price on new one,.As to other makes see a lot of sonys with optic problems as well so isint just a panasonic problem.You could also try using ordinary dvdrs instead of ram discs as the optic has to work harder when recording and playing ram disc due to information contained.Hope I helped!
Break out the manual for the camera, there is probably a "finish" or finalize procedure that needs to be run before the disk can be read by anything else.
