No you should not take the phone to a repair shop and have them replaced or fix the microphone.

When making or recieving a call, i cannot hear the caller but they can hear me. the volume is up so i dont no what the problem is

Your phone is either muted on your end or the microphone has gone out on it. Next time you're in a call look in your call options and see if there is a mute option, or see if there is a microphone symbol with a line through it on your call screen. If there is a microphone symbol with a line through it click it to turn the mute off. If you don't have a mute option on your phone then chances are the microphone has gone bad.

I usually can hear the phone ring through my headset but now it is not letting me hear the ring tone? Help!

That function is performed by the built-in microphone of the handset lifter. It gets it's signal from the speaker vibrations inside the phone. You want to make sure that the phone rings loud enough. If that microphone has gone bad, your handset lifter came with an accessory package that contains an external microphone that you can connect to the back of the lifter to increase sensitivity.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

I have E71 phone, since yesterday if I call somebody he/she can't hear me but I could hear them?

First Option:- Ur microphone can be on mute, check the setting
Second Option:- Ur microphone may have gone out of order, so if first option doesnot work, then take the phone to some technician or to Nokia customer care centre

Microphone Fault

I knew there was a problem with the microphone.People could not hear me.I ordered a replacement part but when I dismantled the phone I found that the microphone had a rubber protective cover. This cover had gone out of shape and was covering the microphone receiver.I removed the rubber cover and put the phone back together. It now works fine.I dont know what caused the rubber to become a problem or what it's purpose is but now it's job done.

When i make calls people who receive my calls cant hear me

You probably have a microphone that has gone out. Your volume has nothing to do with how people hear you, only how you hear them. Check with your provider about any warranties.
