Question about ASUS EN7300GS/HTD GeForce 7300 GS, PCI Express Graphic Card
I have the problom of barleron. A few days ago, when I was playng a game (command&conquer general zero hour), the screen began to produce odd colors. The way I've been explaining it is saying that the textures weren't meshing properly. At first, after the game was quit out of and the computer restarted, there were vertical lines going through the screen in a pattern, varying from black to rainbow colors. I unloaded the game, performed a system restore, cleaned my computer by dusting the inside of it carefully, and deleted and reinstalled the driver off of the Dell website. Nothing actually fixed the problems for very long.in the safe mode it works.but if i instal my graphic card driver my computer didnot work!
In safe mode your "graphics accelerator" doesnt kick in, it runs a slow standard VGA commands. If your card was damaged by usualy overheating or just itself (bad luck, happened to me on 6600gt) it will die either quick or slowly. Slowly means, first "Direct 3D" will show rubbish on screen, the "OpenGL" and later even in windows it displays lines and freezes. After that, you cant even go to BIOS cause if freezes 5 secs after boot. Mine died that way. TRY another card, cheapest u can get or borrow but the same port AGP or PCX, whiever u have. If all is ok, the card is gone. (sounds like it 90%)
