Question about Sony Ericsson W910i Cellular Phone
Hi there my phone has just landed in a bowl of soup. I've tried to clean it up as much as possible. Now the following keys won't work
The call button
Key pad no 8/TUV
Can this be fixed?
Well when ever a phone falls in a liquid or water, the first thing you would have to do is put the phone off and dismantle the parts for it to dry out completely. This is because, the way a phone's main board is designed, any liquid on it will cause a malfunction.
This is what can be done; The phone's main board must be cleaned very well with 'cleaning alcohol' and allowed to dry . To unpack the phone to do this, you would need expert hands to unscreew and dismantle the phone. If you are not sure of how to do this, see a mobile phone technician or any experienced hands.
Normally, you are assured of getting all the keys to work but not all the functions of the phone; though all may work. This depends on how long the liquid still remained on the phone.
The good news is, you don't lose your phone.
