Ok... So I got a blue tooth and it was working fine. One day I'm talking on it, and al of a sudden is stoped working. The blue tooth works and the phone picks the blue tooth up, BUT it won't let me put my phone in headset mode (profile) so that I can use the blue tooth. It allows me to edit and set to default but won't let me select. Can anyone help me with this!?!?!?!?!?!

Re: MY BLUE TOOTH ISN'T BEING READ BY MY PHONE...
Delete the headset from your phones previous or known devices and turn off phone then back on again and try pairing again.
If still same could be faulty phone, but if you can try headset on somebody elses phone to rule out headset.

Go in to setting look for blue tooth press it, go to your phone settings and look for the same thing on both units press Pair with device. At this time the blue tooth should turn on, blue tooth then should allow both units to hook up with each other FYI pass word should be 0000. if you need it
No this isn't a blue-tooth but there is an internal Hardware problem. The earpiece ic might sort/damage.If you can open the case, try to clean the earpiece related components/area.Or you can contact mobile repairing shop for service.Good luck. Thanks for visiting fixya
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR PHONE BLUE TOOTH IS WORKING PROPERLY IF YES TRY CONNECTING YOUR PHONE WITH OTHER BLUE TOOTH HEADSETS. IF IT GETS CONNECTED YOUR PHONE DOESN'T SUPPORT YOUR HEADSET. IF IT DOESNT YOUR PHONE ISN;T WORKING GOOD.
I have a 2009 Buick Enclave...a few months ago out of the blue, my blue tooth does not work...the phone rings in, but when I press talk on steering wheel...it goes quiet...it's connected but they can't hear me and I can't hear them....the phone worked fine, then one day it just started acting goofy...any suggestions? I have deleted, paired, unpaired!
Hi,very easy. It's just the same way you paired the blue tooth with the phone.Dothe same with the new phone are you are done.
When you want to connect a blue tooth to a phone, You will need to switch on the blue tooth device and the phones blue tooth you are pairing with. When pairing both device, you will ask for pairing code, You four digit numbers(default code(0000). and pair. After pairing both device, you detected paired, you can now use the blue tooth device with your phone. there are no special code for pairing Blue tooth device. Normal codes used are any four digit, four numbers you want to use.(0000, 1234).

But if it doesn't pair after you've tried the above, that means the blue tooth is corrupted and will need to be flashed to restore bluetooth back. FORMATTING PHONE Formatting a phone is the same as flashing a phone to remove VIRUS infections on phones.
You can use this link to flash the phone and remove any VIRUS infection on the phone. Read and learn more about flashing and how to flash a phone on this link.
Either the the blue tooth is not pairing well with other devices,
The blue tooth is corrupted.
When pairing phones together, make sure you pair the phone properly before you can use the blue tooth with other phones, because if you don't pair properly with another device, you will not be able to send or receive any data.
If the blue tooth is corrupted all you need to do is to flash the phone, that is the only way to restore the blue tooth back to be working.
Strangely enough I went to the website where I purchased the blue tooth. It recommended holding down the button for 8 seconds as opposed to the 3 or 4 listed in the manufacturer's instructions. When I did this it found my phone. The pairing worked fine and now so does the blue tooth.
