Question about Minolta Di550 B&W Laser Printer

"to test stapler, press staple button" ... Minolta di550 with FN-105 ... HELP !!!

I'm looking for information on di550 with fn-105, message: "to test stapler, press staple button" This code comes up out of the blue, several times a day, with no apparent reason. So far, the only thing that will temporarily clear this code is to unplug the sorter while the machine is running, so that it codes out a communication error, then open and close front door for a reset..... A very similar problem that occurs on di550 with fn-105, message: "staple tray has reached its max capacity, remove all copies" This code also comes up out of the blue, several times a day, with no apparent reason, and there are NO copies on the tray. Also, the only way I can find to temporarily clear this code is doing the same as above (unplug the sorter while the machine is running, so that it codes out a communication error, then open and close front door for a reset). These codes are happening on different machines, and I need a permanent fix. Any ideas?

First make sure that you do not have the collate and staple option checked on the printer menuing system or in the print setup on one of the local machines printing to it. Ensure that when auto-staple is not used that the error stops manifesting.

Then, I would check to make sure that you are installing the correct staples, length and width for the model.

Replace a staple unit in a di 3510 minolta copier

Sattle stich stapler or the corner stapler.

Corner is inside the machine open the front door turn green knob to bring stapler out then remove the blue/green cart. do not throw a way you will be replace the staple not the whole cart.. Sattle stich is the stapler that make you booklet with to staples in the middle. will be up on top of the finisher but under it same deal do not cast away replace staples only and make sure that you pull out the top section and reseat so the copier knows you replace those staples

Function keys not working on hp probook 4440

Identifying the hot keys
A hot key is a combination of the fn key and either the esc key or one of the function keys.
To use a hot key:
Briefly press the fn key, and then briefly press the second key of the hot key combination.
Hot key combination Description
fn+esc Displays information about system hardware components and the system BIOS version number.
fn+f1 Initiates Sleep, which saves your information in system memory. The display and other system
components turn off and power is conserved.
To exit Sleep, briefly press the power button.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of information loss, save your work before initiating Sleep.
fn+f2 Decreases the screen brightness level.
fn+f3 Increases the screen brightness level.
fn+f4 Switches the screen image among display devices connected to the system. For example, if a
monitor is connected to the computer, fn+f4 alternates the screen image from computer display to
monitor display to simultaneous display on both the computer and the monitor.
Most external monitors receive video information from the computer using the external VGA video
standard. The fn+f4 hot key can also alternate images among other devices that are receiving video
information from the computer.
fn+f5 Initiates the QuickLock security feature. QuickLock protects your information by displaying the
operating system Log On window. While the Log On window is displayed, the computer cannot be
accessed until a Windows user password or a Windows administrator password is entered.
NOTE: Before you can use QuickLock, you must set a Windows user password or a Windows
administrator password. For instructions, see Help and Support. To access Help and support, from
the Start screen, type help, and then select Help and Support.
fn+f6 Displays charge information for all installed batteries. The display indicates which batteries are
charging and reports the amount of charge remaining in each battery.
fn+f7 Mutes or restores speaker sound.
fn+f8 Decreases speaker volume.
fn+f9 Increases speaker volume.
fn+f10 Plays the previous track of an audio CD or the previous section of a DVD or a BD.
32 Chapter 4 Pointing devices and keyboardHot key combination Description
fn+f11 Plays, pauses, or resumes an audio CD, a DVD, or a BD.

MY BLUE BUTTONS DON'T WORK

Maybe a crumb under the Fn key. Give it a stab and see. Otherwise go to start-control panel-monitor-adjust brightness. Hope this helps.

What is the fn key

I suspect this is a message you're seeing on a notebook, computer or other device that has a keyboard. The "Fn" key is the "Function" key. When the "Fn" key pressed at the same time another key is pressed - in this case the F4 key, a different result will occur when compared to pressing the F4 alone. This works the same way as when you use the SHIFT key and a letter key - instead of a lower case letter, you get an upper case letter.

Typically, the keys on the keyboard are labeled in a light color. Keys that have a second purpose or function, will have a second label printed in a different color / slight smaller text or both. This label may be text or an icon or graphic. In order to invoke the second function of the F4 key, you will need to inspect the keyboard for the key that has is labeled with "Fn" text on it. Here's what a typical "Fn" key looks like:

The Fn key is in the lower left corner of this keyboard.

I hope this answered your quiestion and good luck!

How do I replace staples in the Konica Minolta Bizhub 600?

The saddle stich or the booklet??? saddle stich is like church program with staples in the middle. Booklet is staples on the left side of the paper or the corner stapler to different staplers and depends on the finisher model?

What is the correct way to place the nails into the gun? This gun uses both cleats and staples. I am using cleats but it does not seem to be working. I may be putting the cleats in wrong.

If you have a Bostitch MIII FN it is only for cleats. Bostitch doesn't make a universal nailer that takes staples and cleats. The MIIIFN is the "floor nailer" and the Model MIIIFS is the "floor stapler"
Maybe check exactly what model you have and ensure you are not trying to put cleats into a stapler.
