Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I'm not exactly sure what causes this problem, but here is what I did to solve it on the Canon MX850.
Go to Canon, search for your printer model (I searched for MX850, but you would do MX700), click drivers and downloads, and download the IJ Network Driver as well as the MX700 series MP Driver.
Install the IJ Network Driver first. It will require the printer be connected via USB, even if you use a network. Then install the MP Driver.
After that I was able to scan to the computer.
