Question about Dell Wireless 2350 Router

1 Answer

Cannot connect wireless to my Dell 2350 router

I have had the dell 2350 wireless router for a couple of years without any real problems. However, I had to switch it off last week and when I switched it back on the wireless is not working. When I switch it on the wireless light comes on briefly then goes out. I can connect through the LAN no problem but not wireless.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Your battery backup is problerby dead, witch meen that your router is back to factory default.
192.168.0.1 or
192.168.1.1
and then from the top :-)

Wireless connection drops

What you need to do with this problem is to have the router "dell wireless 2350" is to update the firmware or software of this router. You may contact Dell support to ask for the firmware or go to www.dell.com and look for the model number of your router and download the firmware of the said router.

Hope this works for you.

Lose wireless connection when the phone rings...

You won't have to buy a new adapter as long as the new router uses the same standard (i.e. 802.11b, g or n).

Setup problems with DELL 2350 router

sometimes windows messes the whole network up when using the set up wizard, you need to go to the properties of your wireless cards and check on the TCP/IP line that the radio button that says obtain ip address automaticaly is ticked. Go into the routers properties menu and check that DHCP is enabled and so allow the router to allocate ip addresses automatically, although you may need to do this via an rj45 cable and not wireless to begin with.
