I have a Zenith 32 inch tv, model A32B41W. Yesterday the tv was on, suddenly there was a loud pop then there was no picture nor voice only a loud piercing hum. TV will not play, so is it worth fixing and if so what is the problem.

They are labeled 561K 2KV, stands for 560pF (pico Farad) 2000volt.
can easily get replacements from Digi-key, Mouser Electronics, Allied
Electronics, Newark Electronics, and many other places. (sorry, your
local Radio Shack doesn't have them.) I suggest that you get 2500-3500
volt as replacements as that's probably what they should have been in
the first place. At Digi-Key I found part number 490-4141-ND,
3.15KV replacements at $0.33 ea., the shipping will be the biggest part
of the cost!
This just happened to my Z50 yesterday...10 days after it came back from the repair shop! The first repair was for the "popping" problem where the tv makes a loud pop and the screen goes black. This took 6 weeks to get fixed. For this new problem the repair center is getting hold of LG to find out what to do. I am also calling them because I see this is a major problem that people have been experiencing out of warranty. The first customer service rep told me I was out of luck but I am not accepting that answer. Good luck, we'll both need it.
