Question about Maytag Atlantis MAV6000 Top Load Washer
The washer was in a spin cycle last evening when it sounded as if it was in a bind. I opened the lid and of course the spin stopped. I reshut the lid and attempted to restart the washer and it now makes no sounds or attempts to do anything in any cycle? My wife states that would make this sound sporadically but it would usually correct it's self after reclosing the lid. I saw that some washers have a fuse and thought that could be part of the problem except I can't find a fuse. Can you please assist. My personal thinking is electrical likely the timer am I close or do suggest another answer?
Possible bad lid switch. You should hear it click when lid closes; if not in needs to be replaced. Inexpensive part. Please contact me if you need further help or leave feedback if appropriate as that is how I get paid. Thanks for letting me help you!
