LG vx8100 cell phone died, now only starts to the verizon logo but won't full boot

have you tried calling verizon customer service ?

try erasin txt messages too or anything else u dont care bout. try anything that can erase or if u can get a memory card

Yes re-installing the firmware, it costs only about 5 bucks on small cell phone shops . it's called flashing the phone .

Sounds like a serious glitch in the phone's roaming mode. If the photos and numbers are in the internal memory, you can't get em off if the phone won't power up, no matter what you do. Have you tried the phone back in your home networks? Try taking the battery out and then putting it back in and powering it up when you're not in a roaming area.

try eerasing some of the messages that are not needed aswell that may free up the mem.
