Question about Computers & Internet
Can you describe your hardware (brand names a part numbers of the hardware and speed)Do you here beeps at the post. Here is something you can try. Remove the motherboard with the processor, memory and video card if you have an external one left in place and connect the power supply.Make sure all your power connectors are in where they need to be. Somtimes there are as many as four connectors from the power supply to the motherboard.Make sure everything is indexed and seated properly. See if it works up to the no operating ayatem error. If not use only one memory stick and try that. Still nothing try one of your other memory sticks only if you have more than one.If nothing and you have a onboard video card enable it in the bois and remove the external one and try that. It micht get you going. A common problem with new setups is a standoff connector that mounts your motherboard to the case is in an unused position and shorts the board at that spot.
