Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines

Whirlpool mod#LLR6144AQO electrical issue

While checking for a leak with the front of my top load LLR6144AQO whirlpool washer I intentionaly stoped the machine during the cycle to check for leaks and it never would start again. I have replaced the capacitor but continues to give nothing. What would an electrical trouble shooting sequence be? Is there a reset on this unit?

Thanks for your help

No, nothing at all happens when pulling out the start knob.

Yes, I have power to the circuit board/timer and with it in the on position I checked the switch at the motor and did not get anything. Is there a specific way to check the timer before spending the $ ?

Thank you again for all the help

If you have power at the console where the power cord connector connects to the harness then make sure all wire harness connections to the timer are tight. If so, then something must have happened to the timer as nothing else will keep the machine dead in fill and spin.

Wash macahine keeps stoping in the middle of a cyle with an F1 code & I don't have the manual

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F1 indicates primary control failure and to resolve this you’ll have to replace the machine control assembly. This error should be fixed by whirlpool as its a common issue with whirlpool Cabrio washers, you can call 1-800-253-1301 whirlpool will send a tech. to fix it and pay for the part. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

F1 fault is flashing and machine is stoping

Code F1 means the central electrical control unit, i.e. the onboard computer, has fatally failed

Widespread problem, lots of machines have had this issue. I think there is a recall on this machine. Check it out-

hi there,

the grinding noise may be coming from either the pump or you have something caught between the drums.

the f-33 error is the pump drive system error. it indicates that you have lost communication between the CCU board and the pump. the CCU board is the main control board that you see in the front of your washer.

i would recommend that you call a technician to check it out, as you will have to do some checks that require technical knowledge.

If this is a front loading machine, take the plug off the wall. Remove the screws of the panel behind take off the panel; check to see whether any hoses hav come loose, tighten, refit.
