I'm trying to download the new version of iTunes through Apple Software Update, but I don't have enough space on my C drive to do so. Is it possible to change the location of the download? I've been trying, but I can't figure it out.

Update your device wirelessly
The easiest way to update your device is wirelessly, also called "over the air." Here's how:
Plug in your device to a power source.
Tap Settings > General > Software Update. (See fig.1 below)
Tap Download and Install to download the update. Updates might download automatically while your device is connected to Wi-Fi and a power source.
Tap Install when the download completes, or tap Later to install the update later. If your device is passcode enabled, it will ask you to enter the passcode before installing the update.
(See fig.2 below)
Some iOS updates aren't available as over-the-air updates. VPN or proxy connections might prevent your device from contacting the iOS update servers.
Update your device using iTunes
If you can't update wirelessly, or if you want to update with iTunes, follow these steps:
If you use your device's Personal Hotspot for your computer's Internet connection, update your device wirelessly or connect your computer to another network.
Are you going to (www.apple.com/itunes/download) to download the latest version of iTunes? Also I would suggest attempting the download with your firewall/anti-virus software disabled. As they can sometimes cause the itunes download to not complete or download with missing files. They are not viruses but sometimes the different softwares will think they are malicious. You do not have to own an apple computer to use an apple iPod. Just make sure that your Operating System on your PC is up to date an you should be good to go. If your not downloading iTunes version 220.127.116.11 then it's not the latest version.
