Question about Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 12 for PC
I cannot get Studio 12 to recognize a 3 TB drive during simple digital capture. My system's XP SP3 recognizes it, after I installed the Seagate utility to allow the partitioning and use of the drive, and Vegas 8.0 will write to the drive, but Studio 12 "sees" the drive and its size info, even listing the unused and available portions, but when I press the button to start, won't allow capture, stating the error message "Low Disk space on drive...Capture requires at least 10MB" How do I get Studio to recognize this drive to allow capture of a DV stream that works fine on other drives?

I think computer crash in this reasons computer might turn to hibernate mode or screen saver is activated.
Or the computer start scanning for viruses and downloading process for the updates.
I suggest to disable all thus process before you start then try it again.

Testimonial: "Thanks for that very prompt response. My only reluctance in not rating the help as "very helpful" is that you didn't give any reason with your comment"
SP3 AS YOU KNOW INCLUDES ALL OF SP2 INFO.
TRY OPENING DISC IN PROGRAMS/LOOK FOR SETUP ICON AND SEE IF THAT LOADS.
OTHERWISE/EMAIL QUERY TO PROG MAKER.

Make sure to back up the registry before modifying it. For
more information about the registry, refer to your Windows
documentation or contact Microsoft.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
For each of these keys on the right hand side there is a Data column. Each entry that refers to a variable or a path name - each value needs to refer to a valid drive, path or variable. These path names may be unique to your individual PC - to restore the defaults it may be necessary to examine a known working machine, or contact a Microsoft Windows technician for additional help.
