How can I fix the Camcorder Canon L2 in order to record and take picture in colour?

The Canon L2s as well as the L1 and A1 had bad capacitors installed so you see tons on ebay listed not working. Its not worth the trouble getting these repaired unfortunately. Remember this camcorder is from the early 1990's. And ignore the other person, Canon will not fix something that is out of warranty for free.

Constantly getting 'Remove the Cassette' message

unfortunately is a known issue about canon XM2 o GL2. A certaiun number came with this problem. ine appear after aroun 100 hours of recording (in 2004!) . Canon service repair everything under warranty end was fine. But Ii know that is annoying. The explanation is that thei produce around 1.000.000 camaras and if only 2.000 have some problem is great! Not for the 2.000 that have to send camara to service..... I used the XM2 for more than 1.000 hours in very extreme condition (caving, snow, desert) everithing was really fine. Today I had back from assistance: 400 € for change the entire mechanics. well.... after 1.000 hours....

Tape transport stuck in open position. Will not take tape into unit.

It could be possible that the tape is in the wrong way or that the tape is the wrong size those are both reasons that it may not be closing

there is something wrong with the sliding chassis I would only send it in if it has a warranty its not worth it to get it repaired. I repair these models and when I get one with your problem I use the outside pieces for parts and scrap the rest thats if its a return with no customer sorry

Canon ZR65 camcorder issues

The CCD is not involved with playback, only the read heads. Your CCD could indeed be faulty. If the audio failed, it likely has circuit board issues which may affect the CCD even though it is working.
This page details FAQ's, and authorized service centers where you can get it repaired.

Canon GL1 Remove cassette error

I certainly don't intend to be rude or obnotious but your comments on this known prpblem are contraditory to say the least! :
"The problem that you are experiencing with your Canon GL1 camcorder is a common complaint on this model camcorder. The “eject the tape error” is the camcorders way of saying something is wrong and it needs to be sent in for repair. It is not a defect with the camcorder, it is simply the most common complaint when the mechanical assembly is not running smoothly and perfectly." If something is wrong and it's a common problem then it must be defect?!?! Also your pricing for this "repair" is pretty close half of what a used GL goes for over here in Europe. I would definatly be looking for another quote and repair service other than yours!

Jammed cassette compartment

This unit is very common for the mode switch to be bad, but to replace this, the entire mechanism has to be taken apart and reassembled and realigned. Probably not worth the money or the time, as we used to get 250 to 300 to repair this problem. Good Luck
