Hi first test the power cord or any burnt region it may be the problem.if it not the problem it is defrost timer If the compressor doesn't run, it is likely that the defrost timer is malfunctioning. This part is located near the compressor. To test the defrost timer:

Step 1:
Unplug the refrigerator.

Step 2:
Disconnect the wires from the timer and timer motor. Remove the timer from its brackets by backing out two retaining screws.

Step 3:
Test the defrost timer with a VOM set to the RX1 scale. Clip one probe of the VOM to each defrost timer -- not motor -- wire, and turn the timer control screw shaft until it clicks. If the defrost timer is functioning, the meter will read zero. If the needle jumps, the defrost timer is faulty. Replace it with a new one of the same type.

Step 4:
Connect the new defrost timer the same way the old one was connected.

To check the defrost timer motor, clip one probe of the VOM to each motor wire, setting the scale to RX100. If the meter reads between about 500 and 3,000 ohms, the motor is functioning properly. If the meter reads higher than 3,000 ohms, the timer motor is faulty. Replace it with a new one of the same type. Connect the new motor the same way the old one was connected.
thank you please rate it.......

As you have mentioned that its only 12 months old but for the last six months it hadnt work so get in touch with the actual manufacturer or the place from where you purchased to get it repaired under warranty. Hoever, the only thing I can recommend as a technican will be to check the plug and the power chord.

Thanks

The power wire must have gone short.and needs replacing.or it could be the internal circuit board error.

Wine cooler displays temperature setting but does not run or cool wine.

It's 1 of 3 things...

A. The fans are not turning. Remove the back, and see if the fans are getting 12 volts, and spinning freely. Remove them and clean off the dust from the heat sink.
B. The Peltier Chip is shot. If the fans run, check for 12 volts on the power connector that's on thelower left of the curcuit board. If there's power, but no cooling, the Peltier is shot. These are available from E-bay for ~$13, but it's a major dissassembly to get it out.
C. If you don't get 12 volts to the fans or the Peltier chip, replace the circuit board.

CWC 600 was working fine but now it is off completely. Is there a fuse of a power switch that can be replaced. We had some wind and rain that made our power go on and off several times within a short...

These CWC fridges have a switching power supply in them that is very voltage spike sensitive, and they blow easily. There is a metric 2.5 amp fuse on the circuit board that protects the board. The next components are 4 rectifier diodes that short out with voltage spikes killing the board. Changing the fuse usually does not fix it. You will probably need a board. Heat kills them too, so if you change the board, remove the fans and vacuum all the dirt off the heat sink as well.

6 bottle unit model cwc-600 died after 6 months. Acts like it isn't plugged in or a blown fuse. But no fuse!

The fuse is on the circuit board, behind the rear cover. It's a 2.5 ampere metric fuse. These boards are very voltage spike sensitive, and chances are you need a new board, as the rectifier diodes in the switching power supply blow and short out easily. If you get a new board, use a voltage spike power strip to protect it.
