Message: printer not responding - hesitates and prints
When I hit print... the printer hesitates... then says printer not responding - hesitates and prints.
I have uninstalled and then installed the printer with the disk I have. I have not tried to load any new drivers. Are there drivers out there that might help? Where would I find them?

Hi there.. i understand that you're having troubles printing from your computer because of that error message.. dont worry im here to help you out with that..
Here's what you can do:
At the device or at the electrical outlet, disconnect the power cord or adapter (while the printer is turned on).
Wait approximately ten to twenty seconds and then reconnect the power cord.
Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting another job request.
normally the reason why it is saying that error message its because the printer is not responding so that's why we will need to power reset you printer..
If you have any other questions, dont hesitate to reply on this message..
Somehow, the print spooler of your computer got disabled. Here's how you enable it. Go to Start Menu > click on Run (for XP)/Search (for Vista or Windows 7)> type services.msc then hit Ok. Services window will pop up. Look for Print Spooler in the items (it's arranged alphabetically). Right click on Print Spooler > click on Properties. Printer Spooler Properties window pops up. In General tab, make sure that Startup type should be Automatic and Service Status shoud be Started. Then go to Log On tab, uncheck Allow service to interact with desktop. Hit Apply and then hit Ok to save the settings. If problem is not resolved, place a comment so I can get back to this. Thanks.
restart the print spooler service from "services.msc"..also check if your printer works in safe mode or not,if it prints there you must try stopping firewall settings & then try to print.. also delete the pending items to print from the list first...
Pls make sure that your computer recognizes your Printer, if it doesn't it would never respond to any print command you sent
check to see (if the computer recognizes)
1- go to start then select printer
2- select your desired printer - right click
3- go to properties
4- select print PRINT TEST PAGE
5- check the message on your paper
if it doesnt then you might have installed a wrong driver
