This cord is the power supply cord that plugs in from the printer to the outlet. I too have just moved, I found the cord that goes from printer to the computer but this is an outlet cord I can not find.

Just the cord, or the ac/dc power adapter?

Isn't the cord, just a standard computer cord, that can be found at any computer or electronics store?

It looks like this??? CLICK HERE

I lost my power cord for my Brother HL 5150D printer when I moved houses..where can I get a new one? is there a special model or can i use a universal one?

Please see this page. I'd try to stick with the brother adapter, if at all possible. Here is the home support page for your model, for more information.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Fellowes 425AP wont power up

When moving UPS batteries you need to unplug them from the unit internally to keep them from discharging completely. If the battery is beyond 2 y/o it is probably shot.

I would NOT replace the battery however in a "possibly-bad" unit. The cost of purchasing an entirely new unit (locally, without shipping cost) is just too inexpensive.

On AC Power

Your problem most likely lies wih the laptop power connector, the power cord connector is not making firm contact, that is why when you jiggle it connects. It might be the cord, you can check it by connecting it to another laptop exactly like yours and see if this plays up on that laptop, if it does then it is most likely the cord/power adapter. Don't connect it to a different brand name laptop, different brands use different voltages.

To replace the power connector on the laptop could be expensive unless you do it yourself, the laptop would need to be completely dismantled to get to the connector. Get a quote, they may charge for a quote, unless you accept the quote which may then be offset against the cost of the repair.

I recommend if the laptop is more than 3 to 4 years old, I would not repair it, put some blue tack around the connector to make the connection secure/firm, and put the repair costs towards a new laptop.

Mag Innovision LT982s 19 inch flat screen monitor

Hi,

Often the plug of the power cord and its mate, the jack in the monitor, would have to conform with the region/country of its intended use. Having said this, then it is possible that your particular version is meant for another country but is likewise sold in your country. A picture of the monitor's connector would help narrowing the selection and possible source/supplier. Pls post if able.

Alternately, you could try viewing the different types here, here or here to get the specific part number or model of the AC cord.

Incidentally, most electronics shops/stores sell a variety of power cords, perhaps a visual check would further assist you.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back as requested, how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
