I have replaced the printer cartridge but the printer is still not printing the full page properly (faded, particularly on the rhs)

The problem is often referred to as uneven print density. It can be corrected by using one or both of these methods:

1) Remove the toner cartridge, gently shake it, then reinstall.

2) Replace the cartridge

Since you've indicated you already replaced the cartridge, I'd disregard that second option and just try the first. That should correct the problem for you.

Good luck!

The faxes we receive are not legible because one side of the fax is not printing and the toner is new. What can we do to fix the problem?

Open the machine and remove the toner cartridge...on the RHS of the place where you install the cartridge you will see a sensor, and you should also see 2 flat shiny pieces of "spring" is toward the rear of the opening the other towards the front. These 2 pieces of spring metal are what push the toner cartridge forward evenly ; over time they get bent backwards a little bit and the pressure can become uneven between fron and back on the toner cartridge. Have a look at them you will probably see one appears to be bent back further than the dont have to remove it...just reach in and bend back out a little the one that is back too far. Put the cartridge back in and make a copy to check.

I replaced the ink cartridge and the alignment screen did not come up, and a result I can't print now. It always came up before. It was printing before I changed the cartridge. How do I solve the problem

Remove the ink and check to make sure that you removed the sticky tape tab from the bottom of each cartridge. If you have then check the carriage where the ink sits for any dry or caked on ink. You can wash this away with alcohol and a cotton swab. Finally check the number on the old ink and make sure that it matches the number on the new ink. Just because the ink fits in the printer does not mean it will work. If everything is good, force the alignment through the printer properties in Windows.

No print on the RHS of page using Epson Aculaser C1100

Two things to check,
1- clean the laser by opening the front cover, pull forward the green lever on the R/H side, take off the little panel on the R/H side of the printer and pull out/push in the lens cleaning "stick". Replace panel and push the lever back in, close the front and try a test print.
If that didn't work:
2- Open the lid, lift the orange lever and remove the photoconductor. Be careful with it as it is easily scratched. Inside the printer rotate the toner cartridges and check that the cartridge lock levers are fully locked as even a couple of millimeters can block the laser.

Hope this helps.

Ink carriage

This is a tricky little printer. Here is your fix.

When you hold down the ink button for 3 seconds, the printer will perform a cleaning cycle.

But if you continue to hold the button for 10 to 15 seconds, it will then come ove to the opening where you can access the cartridges.
