Question about Kodak EASYSHARE 5300 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I own the kodak AIO 5300, I have not had it long, ive only had to change the ink once, I loved it at first but all of the sudden when I try to print pictures they either have a grayish or green tint to them and has lines, I have cleaned the print heads, and tried several other things.. I swear by Kodak but I am very unhappy with this printer. Please help me. Thank-You, Amanda Hazlett

Have you tried a new print head? If the printer is new, the heads aren't as full as replacement ones. Ususlly you get half as much ink. Try a new head and see if the situation changes.

follow the step by step solution from kodak.

Choose All-in-one printer and then Print quality and follow the further steps. I think it's a problem with your printhead.

Says replace ink cartridge


I have replaced my ink cartridges numerous times and they are still full. It keeps telling me the ink cartridge needs replacing. It won't print and the red light keeps blinking. I have disconnected the usb and the power. I have only had this printer for about a year. It won't scan or print. Its a Kodak Easyshare 5300. The HomeCenter AiO is disconnected so how do I contact anyone from Kodak?

try to remove and install again the ink cartridges and after that perform printhead cleaning again if still prints the same call kodak aio hotline 1 800 421 6699 you might need a replacement printhead..

Just replaced Printhead on my AiO 5300


from what i know, kodak already released an imkproved and upgraded version of their printhead so i guess you dont need to worry about that anymore.

Kodak 5300 aio printer won't print black


It is the print head. Cleaning the heads does not do any good, either does replacing the ink. What you'll need to do is contact Kodak's customer service line and they can replace it for you free of charge. On this site everyone seems to be saying it is consistently the black that stops, however, based on what Kodak said it is possible that either the black or the color can have this same issue.

When you call in they will ask you for your service number, which is located on the bottom left corner of the machine, when you lift the lid (as if you were going to replace the ink). They didn't ask me when I bought it, how much I used it, etc.

They will set up a case for you - it takes 2-3 business days for the print head to arrive. They will provide you with an invoice number as well. Be sure to document it all just incase the head never comes, or if there are additional issues after you receive it (and/or if it doesn't solve the problem)
