Question about HP Thin Client - AMD Geode NX 1GHz - 256MB DDR SDRAM - 512MB Flash - Windows XP Embedded - Tower HP Com... Network Terminal
Sadly, you must pull the laptop apart and reset the BIOS...well unless you know the password, then just remove it through BIOS.

SOURCE: How can i break up
Its not possible to break BIOS password in case of a laptop, you have to go to HP service center for this. You can do this in desktop very easily by just taking out the CMOS battery and then reinserting it.
You can DO the same in your laptop also to remove the password but its highly risk cos once you opened your laptop your warranty will break if your system is under period. SO i wont suggest you to do it by yourself, better go to service center..

SOURCE: How to remove power-on password
Do you mean the password required during the start up of the computer ? It also depends on the OS you use. If this is the rpoblem and your OS is windows based then go to 'control panel'. Click 'User accounts' tab. Click on the 'change windows password' tab. Three options will come. You click on 'Remove password' tab. Do the rest of the process. Now you can start your PC without a password.

If you have a password on your windows, you can remove it with windows password reset tool. For removing Windows 7 password, I recommend windows password reset 9.0. last week, I downloaded it and used it to remove the lost password within only few minutes. Furthermore, the powerful tool didn't cause a little data lose.
