My dryer wont dry laundry in1 cycle

A lot of the times if a dryer starts taking numerous cycles to dry clothes it is because the vent to the outdoors has become clogged with lint. This keeps the dryer from being able to discharge the moist air. You can buy dryer vent brushes with a wire attached that you can use to keep the vent clean.

What is the best setting to use to dry clothes

Medium or low heat and put a few DRY,clean towels in there.
AUTO moisture sensors will do the rest.

The HIGH setting is not good for the dryer or your clothing.

Always put in a dry article to speed the process up.

Permanent press w/cool down is good.

If you use the HIGH setting, you better be **kid and waiting for the clothes to be dry!

Sorry.

Roper electric dryer. Clothes not drying. Temp ok/timer not?

I would supect a faulty high limit thermostat. This small round device is mounted to a metal plate and attached to the internal ductwork. It can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Test for continuity. It should have none. Hope this helped and best wishes.

DUET DRYER SEEMS TO BE STUCK ON MEDIUM TEMP. CLOTHES TAKE TOO LONG TO DRY

Hhi, Have you checked the vent that goes outside to see if it is plugging up? Make sure it is not pinched/kinked as well.
Is this gas or electric?

There is no difference in drying between medium and high setting.

You only need a certain amount of heat and air to evaporate a given amount of water. If you don't notice any difference, use the medium setting. You would notice a difference with a larger load.

Burner temp.

If set to high, burners should remain on. If set to medium high let's say, they would be on for maybe 70 percent of the time, off for 30 percent of the time. If set to warm, they might be on only 10 percent of the time, off 90 percent. There is a high temp limiter which could turn a burner off. If you have a burner on high and are cooking on that burner and it goes off, the high temp limiter may be faulty. It is an integral part of the burner, and would require replacement of the offending burner. Burners are individually replaceable after lifting up the glass cook top.
