Please see weather any visual indications is turned on when u plug in the socket. Also see on what voltage it functions before connecting it to mains.

SOURCE: How much rice with how much water for a Zojirushi NRC 15?

Use the little cup that came with cooker, then use graduated scale on side of pan. One cup of rice and fill up to the 1 on side of pan.

I have a zojirushi neuro fuzzy 10 and 3 cup and both of them have the same problem. They both leave the rice hard as a rock on top. You cant leave it even overnight without the top turning hard. What can I do.

try adding a little less water, And letting it sit about 4 min to make sure the steaming has stopped

Zojirushi Rice cookers are the very best there is. Everything is food safe. Titaniium and stainless steel are all fine, chips or no chips. I have used them extensively in Commercial Cooking.

The error code E01 is probably explained in the Troublehooting section of user manual for your Zojirushi rice cooker.

If you do not have the manual for your model of rice cooker, you may be able to find it (PDF format, requiring Adobe Acrobat Reader software, free) here:

We bought a Zojirushi NS-WAC18 rice cooker, but I lost the user manual. Where Can I find it on line?

It may be that the stored Lithium Battery requires replacement.
