Well my comptuer screen is saying no signal/reception.have tried everything i can think of but to no avail.however the computer screen was working fine until i took it off the internet.
Check the connection at the back of the PC. It sounds like the connector is just loose. unplug the connector, make sure no pins are bent, and hook it back up.

I think you need all the drivers in the computer and not just the sound driver since you wiped out everything there.
Here's what you can do:
Go to the website of your comptuer's manufacturer and auto detect the brand of your computer. If they don't have it, then just try searching for it in the computer's casing. You should find the model name somewhere. Make sure to select the support and downloads page in the website and enter the operating system that your computer is currently running. All drivers will be shown on the screen.
Download the following:
1. Video Driver 2. Chipset Driver 3. Audio Driver 4. Internet or Network Driver
You should also install an anti-virus in the computer to make sure that you won't get any virus. After installing everything and if everything's working great, then you can other programs there. You can also add a tech software which can boost your computer's performance like RadarSync which will keep all your drivers updated.

There are as google says some apps for boosting signal strength but they are of no use practicallyinstead try reseting your phone to Factory default or a more reliable way would be to buy signal booster covers available on ebay for as low as $5
shut your computer down for 1 minutes with the power unplugged, and try it again.
depending on if your savvy with computers or not depends on how indepth you want to be. You need to determine if your video card has gone bad or not. try to remove everything attached to your motherboard, memory, hard drives, any cables, and see if your screen turns on. Take out any network cards, video cards, modems etc, that is inside your comptuer. So you need to have your motherboard, cpu and fan+ power supply connected, and try to turn it on. If the screen comes up,l something you removed is bad. If it does not, and your computer is running, bad video card.
Most computers today come with an integrated video card, meaning everything is 1 piece. You might be able to bypass your motherboards video card port, by installing a separate card. You can get these at any computer store.
Unfortunately this may be a reception issue due to interference. Some channels may experience more interruptions then others depending on signal strength and what interference is in the area. Two approaches are to buy an antenna that is bigger or one that is called “active” which will require an available power outlet. The other is trying to move the antenna outside, at the highest elevation as possible and clear of trees that may be between the antenna and the transmission tower, if possible.
You can identify the transmission towers in your area and the signal quality you may be receiving for channels. Use this information to justify what size of antenna you will need.
Here's some things to check: If there are signal splitters on your cable for TV, computer, more than one tv, the signal is getting divided ...every splitter will weaken the signal. Check for unneeded splitters, also there are splitters that have a wider frequency capability. Consider upgrading to 2hgz splitters if needed. Also I think that the more homes that are on the cable tend to make the signal weaker...I don't comcast would fess up to this, but I'm pretty sure it's true. Make sure all your cable connections are snug and you may want to double check for corrosion etc. on each connection. I resorted to a signal amplifier on my home. We've got comcast for cable tv and internet, with multiple tv's and multiple computers. The amplifier (motorola) boosted the signal for everything and we've got way less dropped, frozen pix, black screens and the internet is back up to speed. Comcast even came out and put a signal strength meter on the in-line to the house and stated it's within their limits... Glad I put the amp on the line.. Give it a try. K
you may be in an area where reception is low. even though you may have had it for a while it can still go signal crazy because of the area you're trying to use it in.
