Im going to assume if you press the on button on the remote or the tv, that is just clicks at you and does nothing then turns off...if so kiss it goodbye..it's a problem with its main board and there isn't really anything you can do to fix that. Unless you are good with electronics that is...if it's new it may be under warranty, if it's old well then no luck there...

The first thing in this unit is to check the ribbon cable that goes from the front control panel to the back ssb board, I would unplug and replug to make sure seated properly. Then try it again. There are alot of screws to take out but worth it if this solves the problem.

Hi,
Symptom shows Lamp is weak in result and causing restart of TV again and again. Your TV requires new lamp as per following part number...
A1085447A* LAMP BLOCK ASSY XL-2200U
It is available in Sony Accessories Store for $200 and replacement procedure is written in instruction manual of TV.

Always buy Sony original lamp for TV and avoid aftermarket / cheap lamp for TV safety.

Component input won't work

There are 2 rows of RCA connectors on the back of this TV.
If you are looking at the back of the TV, on the right side you'll find the connectors.
On the bottom row, left most RCA jack is the Video in for the Component video.
on the top row, the right 2 connectors are for Audio connections.
we put the Yellow plug from our Wii into the bottom row video connector, and the red and white RCA connectors into the top row plugs.

This enabled us to connect the Wii, and play games.

Signal lights don't work

Soudn like a problem with the turn signal FLASHER go to bad. Check location under the drivers side of the dashboard, look for a round silver disc that has prongs on the back .It is attached to the fuse panel and it is directly above the brake pedal mounted to the right of the steering column.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

I have a (i think 20 inch) rca truflat tv and i can't find the channel for video and dvd. the manue didn't help and i don't have the guide"

Press menu on your remote. Press "4" for channel and "4" for video input source. In this menu, you can toggle between s-video and regular video (yellow plug) input. The disadvantage is, if you're like me and you've got a DVD player and and VCR (or maybe a video game system) all hooked up to the same TV, you've got to go through the menu and switch the inputs to watch something else. I'm happy with my digital audio cable; I'll deal with yellow-plug video.

I recently got a JL 300 amp and at first the sub stopped working, then it came back on during the song I was playing. Later on it shut off all together. I don't know what the problem is..

Does it only happen on that channel. It is a 4 channel amp so make sure the other channels are working. It sounds like an RCA input prob. Try the sub on the other channel. if it works then it would be your RCA input needs resoldered.

I tried hooking up my laptop to my 37lh20 tv. I connected the avi to the pc input and an audio cable fro the headset jack on the tv. If I put the tv input on rgb pc I get the picture but no sound and if...

Unless you hook HDMI to HDMI, you won't carry sound across the HDMI cable. If you're using a VGA to HDMI converter, you'll get the picture but no sound.

I have a feeling the headset jack on the TV is an output rather than an input. Most TVs accept HDMI, RCA, or a digital audio input (either coaxial or optical). Unless you have a S/PDIF optical output from your laptop (and you obviously don't have an HDMI output), then your only other choice is likely to get a cable that splits a 1/8" headset type connector into two RCA plugs that you'll plug into an AUDIO IN input on your TV.

My canon powershot a495 has a problem. it always

Alkaline batteries just don't have the power for more than a few pictures in today's power hungry digital cameras. Some batteries may also have reached their shelf life at the store, and though brand-new right out of the package may even have problems just powering startup of the camera. The one's that came with your camera are just to show you that the camera works, but as you've discovered, they'll only last for a few pictures. Digital cameras that use AA's for the most part should only be used with modern rechargeable batteries. If you read the camera's instruction manual concerning batteries, you should see the same recommendation.
Modern rechargeable batteries have over 5 times the power density of alkaline batteries (that's right, they last up to 5 times longer than an alkaline battery. And you can recharge them over and over!). Keep in mind rechargeable batteries will save you much money in the long run over alkalines, AND they'll last for at least 100 pictures per charge (and probably many many more). You'll be very pleased with their performance, and may be angry with yourself for not buying them sooner. When at the store, look on the package for a power rating of at least 2500 mah.

This happens all the time with me too lol here is what you need to do.
1) create a new gmail account on the computer.
2) call your cell phone with a different phone.
3) answer your cell phone then hit the back button and it will take you to the home
screen.
4) turn on wifi so it can do data and voice at the same time (remember that the phone is still connected)
5) go to Settings -> Location & Security and disable lock pattern (you'll need to
enter to correct pattern previously set)
6) go to Settings -> Accounts & Sync and click "Add Account" and add your newly
created Gmail
account.
7) hang up the phone.
8) turn the phone back on, at the lockout screen, enter your new Gmail account info
and it should let you back in
9) once the phone is unlocked, you can go in setting and remove the newly added Gmail

The New TV.don't come on, keep showing no signal, don't know what is wrong, can you help us, to get it going. thank you

Hello,

The TV is turned on. The TV showing "no signal" is an indication that is turned on. Its just that the TV is not recieving any signal whatsoever from an antenna, DVD player or dish.

I suggest you connect thee TV to a DVD player. Click source on the TV remote to AV 1. Use a RCA (yellow white and red wire) for the connection.

Yellow stands for video and white and red stands for audio. Connect yellow to "vidoe out' from the DVD player to 'video in' at the back of the TV. Do the same for the audio white and red.

Now there should be a display on the TV. If there is not display, check your connection.

Let me know if need more help.

Your sincerely.
